I’m still figuring out my headcount. Can I move forward with booking anyway?

Absolutely! We can always add on more services at a later time. Keep in mind that services can be added but not reduced once the contract is signed and the retainer is paid. Feel free to reach out if you have any further questions or when you're ready to finalize the details.

Do you have a minimum headcount required for booking?

A minimum of five makeup services is required, excluding the preview session. If you're unable to secure five makeup services, I'm flexible and can substitute touch-up hours to accommodate your needs.

Can you accommodate a large bridal party, and do you have additional artists available if needed?

Currently, I specialize in more intimate bridal parties. However, exceptions can be considered based on the time of year and specific details. Please feel free to reach out to discuss your requirements, and we can explore the possibilities together.

Do you offer bride only packages?

I do. These specialized packages are crafted to cater to the unique needs of brides who may prefer individualized services or have smaller, more intimate getting-ready groups. Please inquire for more information.

My mom is hesitant about having makeup done. What is your approach for the mothers of the group?

I completely understand and appreciate any hesitations about makeup. My approach for the mothers is centered around simplicity, focusing on minimal, soft, and clean lines. How far in advance should I book your services for my wedding day?

As soon as you feel comfortable to do so. Securing your date in advance not only ensures availability but also provides peace of mind. This is particularly crucial for 2024, anticipated to be one of the busiest wedding seasons yet.

How do I secure your makeup services for my wedding date?

The process involves signing my contract and providing a 50% retainer of the total services and travel fees.

Is the bridal preview session required?

It is. This is an essential step in our process of working together. This session is not only fun, but important for understanding your bridal makeup vision. It ensures that you feel confident and excited for your wedding morning, knowing exactly how your makeup will look when we're finished. The preview session gives us the opportunity to refine the look, making adjustments along the way to achieve a 'you but better' appearance that aligns perfectly with your vision.

Can you travel to my location for the preview session?

Yes. Previews are offered Monday through Thursday, and I highly recommend late morning sessions. This timing allows us to test the longevity of the makeup and assess its appearance in natural light, ensuring your bridal look is perfect for your wedding day.

When do you recommend scheduling my preview session?

1-3 months prior to the wedding date. This timing allows us to align the makeup with the season, as well as your hair color and skin tone.

How much time do you allocate for bride and bridal party makeups?

I like to schedule 1.5 hours for the bride, and give 45 minutes for additional services. The bridal duration may not take the entire hour and a half, but I like to build in cushion time so no one feels rushed or stressed due to time constraints.

Do you require lodging for weddings outside of NYC?

Yes, lodging is required for weddings 2 hours or more outside of Brooklyn, NY. This helps mitigate unexpected travel issues, such as traffic, adverse weather conditions, road closures, etc., to ensure that I can arrive at the preparation location promptly. Essentially staying overnight allows me to prioritize your comfort, assuring that I am well-rested and fully prepared to create the perfect bridal look for you. What are some of the makeup brands found in your kit?

My kit features a selection of high-quality brands, including Armani Beauty, Dior, Lancome, Estee Lauder, Charlotte Tilbury, NARS, and MAC. However, my kit isn't limited to these brands—I strive to incorporate the best products available to ensure a luxurious and customized makeup experience for every client.

If I have specific makeup preferences, can you use my personal makeup?

Of course. I'm flexible and open to using your personal makeup products. However, it's important to note that I cannot guarantee the effectiveness or compatibility of your personal products with the overall makeup look. Professional makeup artists often curate their kits with carefully selected, high-quality products that are known for their performance, longevity, and suitability for various skin types. While I'll do my best to accommodate your preferences, the use of personal products may have an impact on the final result, and I recommend discussing any specific concerns or preferences during our consultation.

Given that many of my clients prefer a soft, radiant, and natural look, I typically recommend considering touch-up services. Soft makeup may benefit from occasional refreshing, ensuring that you maintain a flawless appearance without compromising the natural, radiant finish. 

Should I have you stay for bridal touch-ups?

Given the unpredictable weather and emotional highs of your big day, it's a wise choice to have me stay for touch-ups. From unexpected rain to tears of joy, I can proactively address any effects, ensuring your makeup stays flawless for the photos.
